Following on from a career in finance I decided to make a career change in 2019 and further my hobby in coding and take it to the next level. I studied as a Full Stack Software Developer at Code Institute and graduated in December 2020 with a diploma in Software Development, receiving a 2:1 grade (equivalent to a level 5 on the European Qualifications Framework (EQF)).
Since then, I have not looked back, and continue to learn and grow through freelance work, being part of many exciting web developing projects for a Theatre Company, Author, and Actress. I have found working with my clients, bringing their initial ideas from wireframes through to production, a most rewarding part of the job.
I have also worked as a Web Designer and through all this experience I have really found my passion and motivation in coding.
I enjoy writing and designing and I have quite recently researched and published a book, titled "A Brief Interlude" by Jack Fairfield, where I used programs such as Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
I am a manager and player for Långholmen Football Club playing both 11 aside and 7 aside throughout the year. I am also part of the board which discusses the clubs future and planning for each season.
I enjoy walking and trekking and have enjoyed many fantastic climbs through out the world. Including Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and extensive treks around the Himalaya's, Asia and Scotland.
I am a keen runner and gym enthusiast who enjoys the challenge of Obstacle Course Racing. I have entered into competitions throughout Sweden and United Kingdom, with the most gruelling being the Rat Race which consisted of running 30km while tackling 200 obstacles.
