About

Following on from a career in finance I decided to make a career change in 2019 and further my hobby in coding and take it to the next level. I studied as a Full Stack Software Developer at Code Institute and graduated in December 2020 with a diploma in Software Development, receiving a 2:1 grade (equivalent to a level 5 on the European Qualifications Framework (EQF)).

The course covered the fundamentals of coding from User Centric and Interactive Frontend Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) through to Data Centric Development and Full Stack Frameworks (Python, SQL, Django).

Since then, I have not looked back, and continue to learn and grow through freelance work, being part of many exciting web developing projects for a Theatre Company, Author, and Actress. I have found working with my clients, bringing their initial ideas from wireframes through to production, a most rewarding part of the job.

I have also worked as a Web Designer and through all this experience I have really found my passion and motivation in coding.
