The aim of this website was to provide a platform for fellow Magnet Fishers to socialise and share fishing experiences and catches, so that enthusiasts can create a community and further develop their interest in this emerging sport.
The Website is specifically aimed at the Magnet Fishing community in Stockholm. It is an embryonic sport but growing extensively, and it is hoped that this website will help participates come together and fill a well needed gap.
The website uses MongoDB to tabulate user’s magnet catches which are then tabulated in a communal ‘Catch Log’ page. Users can delete or edit their magnet catches accordingly. Information and useful resources are also provided on the home page along with a real-life video of a catch provided!
